The aroma is rich and malty with light notes of chocolate, molasses, and a lightly fruity wisp, and just a hint of tartness. The hops has a moderately spicy, yet earthy component, with just a touch of bitterness. Casco Bay’s Brown Ale would make a great accompaniment to a bowl of homemade gumbo soup!
