Brewery:Old Dominion
Brewery Location: Dover, DE
Featured Beer: Oak Barrel Stout
Style: Oaked American Stout
ABV: 6.1%

The Oak Barrel Stout has a delicious aroma of vanilla, along with roasty, coffeeish and cocoa notes. Underneath is clearly a stout. It pours black, with a decent tan head. Presents itself as a dry stout, with malt and roast in balance and not sweet. Then the vanilla comes in and rounds it out. The finish is dry and roasty with hints of vanilla. Overall, I find it quite enjoyable. It is a good dry stout, but rounded and expanded by the oak barrel vanilla.

Brewery: Boulder B.C.
Brewery Location: Boulder, CO
Featured Beer:Sweaty Betty Blonde Hefe
Style: Bavarian Hefeweizen
ABV: 5.9%

Sweaty Betty pours a clear, golden body with a small, though dense, white head. Aromas of soft white wheat and lemon citrus with a slight underlying note of yeast. The tastes begins with pale, wheat malts with a tiny pop of sugared sweetness. As it warms you get some lemon-flavored candy and very minor, spicy hops and bitterness. Sip of cool, clean water. The mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Hints of doughy yeast with a light wheaty finish.

Brewery:Old Dominion B.C.
Brewery Location: Boulder, CO
Featured Beer: Big Thaw Bock
Style: Maibock
ABV: 7.5%

Big Thaw Bock Pours a golden amber with a nice foamy cap in the tall tulip. Nice nose of flowery hops and a hint of carnations. Rather sweet as you'd expect. Sprightly carbonation but kind of a flat mouthfeel. On the heavier side, and seems stronger than the ABV. Rather sharp and a little woody. Malty and buttery as it warms up. Strong and sweet, but that's the style. Clean and well made.

Brewery: Boulder B.C.
Brewery Location: Boulder, CO
Featured Beer: Flashback India Brown Ale
Style: India Brown Ale
ABV: 6.9%

Flashback pours a clear, medium brown color with some crimson highlights. Great head formation and retention with a lot of lacing. Aromas begin with a bold punch of citrus, fresh cut grass and pine notes. As it warms you get some of the base beer; malts give a nutty, chocolatey, toasty background that attempts to balance the aromas but hops steal this show. The tastes begin with chocolate, nuttiness, and toffee malts actually take the foreground of flavor before the hops kick in. But before long, the citrusy hops rise and eventually dominate the beer. No off flavors, just medium all around except for the aggressive hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Moderately sweet from the malts but the hop bitterness overpowers into the finish.
