Brewery: Sweetwater Brewing Co.
Brewery Location: Atlanta, GA
Featured Beer: 420 Extra Pale Ale
Style: Pale Ale
ABV: 5.4%

420 Extra Pale Ale pours honey in color with a touch of haze and a beautiful gradient to the center. Nice white head that laces in rings around the glass. Firm sharp but not overpowering bitterness right up front that lasts through the finish but tapers off nicely. Lots of sweet citrus, mostly tangerine and orange. Bread and caramel maltiness in the background bring this beer a nice rounded aroma profile. Bright flavors on this: orange peel and rind, tangerine, a little grassy and earthy too in the mid palate, fresh bread holds this beer up well. Moderate carbonation and a light body make this pretty easy to drink beer. Its smooth, refreshing, and well balanced.

Brewery: Casco Bay Brewing Co.
Brewery Location: Portland, ME
Featured Beer: Riptide Red
Style: Irish Red Ale
ABV: 5.4%

Riptide Red pours an auburn color with a centimeter's worth of dying head. It has spotty but ringy lacing. The body retains the auburn throughout the beer. The smell has some roasted barley and some light amber hops. The taste is creamy, but light subtle roasted barley, some of the amber hops come back but are subtle. I believe there is some caramel that might be detected in the finish. The mouthfeel has a medium feel which is pretty smooth and slightly wet.

Brewery: Lancaster Brewing Co.
Brewery Location: Lancaster, PA
Featured Beer: Lancaster Milk Stout
Style: English Sweet Stout
ABV: 5.3%

Lancaster Milk Stout beer pours black with no head or lacing. The aroma is dark roasted malt and licorice with hints of chocolate and coffee. The flavor is predominantly anise with baker's chocolate and hoppy notes. A bit of milk chocolate comes through as it warms. It's mouthfeel is full and syrup-like. Lancaster Milk Stout is a decent beer, not as smooth as most milk stouts but still good.
